CIBC Miracle Fund

Program Description

The CIBC Miracle Fund is a special fund designed to enhance the physical, mental, social, and developmental well-being of disadvantaged, at risk children and youth who would not otherwise have the financial means to support their request. This fund is administered by the Halifax Region Children’s Aid Foundation through a partnership with the Children’s Aid Foundation in Toronto. CIBC Miracle Fund Grants are available from January 1, 2016 until December 31, 2016 or until grant funds are exhausted.

A maximum amount of $400.00 can be awarded per child/youth in this time frame.

Criteria

  • Disadvantaged/at risk children or youth
  • Under 21 years of age at time of request
  • No other sources of funding (including government funding) to support this request

Application Process

A referral agent such as a social worker, SchoolsPlus Outreach worker, Public Health Nurse, or another relevant professional must complete all sections of this application and submit it to the fund manager. Applications cannot be accepted if they are submitted from a child/youth or family member/relative.
